Blackpool Marathon & Half Marathon

Sunday 6th April 2014....
Fast and relatively flat, one lap course (two laps for the marathon) on the coastal front of Blackpool. A great race for a PB on the traffic free Promenade. From the HILTON HOTEL, NORTH PROMENADE, BLACKPOOL.

Both races start at 9.30am directly outside the hotel on the Promenade.

run under UK Athletics rules. UK Athletics Licensed Event.

First three male and female individual winners in both events
First male and female veteran winners (Male 40/45/50/55/60/65, Female 35/40/45/50/55/60) in both events
First male team (UKA/ARC Affiliated Club), four to count, in both events
First female team (UK/ARC Affiliated Club), four to count, in both events

Water stations:
(Marathon): 3.2 Miles, 6.2 Miles, 9.1 Miles, 12.6 Miles, 15.4 Miles, 18.3 Miles, 22.1 Miles, 24 Miles and at the finish.
(Half Marathion): 3.2 Miles, 6.2 Miles, 9.1 Miles and at the finish.
Bottled water only will be distributed at the water stations.

Toilets, baggage storage, changing, car park, registration area all at the Hilton Hotel. Entry on the day available if entry limit has not been reached (£10 extra on day). Open to all runners aged over 17 (half marathon) and 18 (marathon).

Course Accuracy
The event holds a valid Course Accuracy Certificate denoting the exact distance and correct placement of the mile markers on the route. For more information CLICK HERE.

Run for Charity
Raising money for charity is a big part of the Fylde Coast Running experience for many runners. You can run for any charity that may be close to your heart. Contact them directly and ask for sponsor forms. They will give you all the help and assistance you need for raising sponsorship money.
